We’re Jack and Jay, and we run Lapwing Deli. Back in 2021, we set out with a simple purpose: to build something of value in a community we’ve come to love. Since moving to Manchester, Didsbury has become our home — full of brilliant people, buzzing independents, and a real sense of character.

Our aim was to create a café that fits into that fabric — somewhere that brings people together over good food, drink, and conversation.

At the deli, we take pride in offering a curated selection of fine wines, craft beers, cheeses, charcuterie, and luxury pantry items. Our café provides a relaxed environment where you can enjoy a morning coffee, a leisurely lunch, or a catch-up with friends over a glass of wine.​

We strive to be the center of our community, and more than just a deli. Our space is available for private hire, and we regularly wine & cheese nights, as well as workshops to bring people together.
